Daniel Drezner gives a thought-provoking assessment of the way people (nations) would react to a zombie threat in relation to their sociopolitical view.
My biggest problem here is that he’s assuming that there would be an opportunity for a somewhat “civil” consideration of the zombie threat. “In the end, what I am suggesting is that with careful planning and a consistent approach, the zombie threat can be managed.” says Drezner.
Personally, I think of the flesh hit the fan, it would result in a destruction of our normal societal patterns and we’d be left with gangs of powerful zombie hunters who war against the dead and each other for resources.
But, credit where credit is due, I love the term “rom-zom-com” and quotes Shaun of the Dead.
