Who Wants to Be in ‘The Walking Dead?’

Actor, Thomas Jane of HBO’s Hung, wants to play a bad guy in the second season of AMC’s The Walking Dead.  According to NBC Washington, Jane spent Emmy night with The Walking Dead‘s director, Frank Darabont, trying to figure out a way to make a guest appearance on the show.  Darabont and Jane previously worked together on the movie, The Mist.  Jane did have one stipulation about appearing on the show; he said he did not want to play a zombie.  AMC gave (less picky) fans the chance to appear in season two as a zombie with a contest that ended on August 15th.  The winner of the contest has yet to be announced.

All this talk of season two makes it seem like AMC has already committed to a second round of Walking Dead episodes.  In fact, Fangoria reports that filming on season two will begin February 2011.
