– The movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies recently lost its director, David O. Russell, and its star, Natalie Portman, but the film isn’t dead yet.  Deadline reports that Scarlett Johansson may replace Portman, and multiple directors including Mike Newell (Prince of Persia) and Neil Marshall (Descent) are in the running to replace Russell.

– At a press conference for the film, 127 Hours, Danny Boyle said he would love to direct 28 Months Later, the second sequel to his zombie film 28 Days Later.  Boyle is currently working on the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

– The film adaptation of the popular comic, The Goon, is still waiting to be picked up by a movie studio for production.  Watch the animated concept trailer below featuring the voices of Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti.
