‘Walking Dead’ Season 2 Not Until Oct 2011?

THR is reporting that the second season of The Walking Dead may not air until October 2011 following AMC’s Fearfest marathon.  AMC has already confirmed that season two will be longer than season one–having thirteen episodes rather than six.  Last August during an interview with Comic Book Resources, Frank Darabont (the series developer/producer/director) stated he was eager to introduce the character Michonne in a future season.  In the comic book that serves as the television show’s inspiration, Michonne is a tough, samurai sword-wielding survivor.  Darabont also said he wanted to use a winter environment for the second season.  The fourth episode of The Walking Dead airs Sunday, November 21st at 10/9C P.M. on AMC.
