The Los Angeles Times reports that Zach Galifianakis may be joining the cast of Universal Pictures’ R.I.P.D. Galifianakis would play an undead police officer in the horror/crime drama. The film is based on the Dark Horse comic of the same name. R.I.P.D., or Rest in Peace Department, tells the story of undead cops who work as law enforcement against the supernatural. Actor, Ryan Reynolds, is already attached to the project, and Robert Schwentke is directing.
