More undead movies are on the way, zombie fans! Hollywood continues to fuel the zombie craze with more and more z-films being put into development each day.
Sony Pictures is working on a film titled The Kitchen Sink, and Deadline reports that Jonah Hill is in talks to direct the movie. The film would be Hill’s first as director. The Kitchen Sink is a high school movie about teenaged zombies, vampires, and humans who team up to save their town from an alien invasion. Matt Tolmach is producing the film.
According to Screen Daily, Nicholas Hoult has just been cast as the lead zombie in Summit Entertainment’s Warm Bodies. Hoult will play a zombie who falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his meal-time victims. Warm Bodies is based on the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion. (The novel will be released in the United States on April 26, 2011.) Hoult will next be seen in X-Men: First Class as the mutant Beast. Warm Bodies is being directed by Jonathan Levine and is due out in theaters 2012.
