It looks like the film adaptation of Max Brooks’s World War Z is starting to come together. The movie was recently in financial trouble, but Paramount Pictures appears to be moving forward and has hired a director of photography for the film. According to Bleeding Cool, Robert Richardson is the film’s new DP and is already prepping for studio filming in London. Richardson has won the Academy Award for cinematography twice and has been nominated a total of six times. His work can be seen in Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, and Shutter Island. World War Z has Brad Pitt attached to star and Marc Forster to direct.
