New Trailer for ‘Resident Evil 6′

Capcom has released a cinematic trailer for their upcoming zombie game, Resident Evil 6.  Check out the trailer below (via GameSpot).  The third-person action game stars franchise regulars, Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield, as they travel across the world and try to contain a new global zombie outbreak.  Resident Evil 6 will also feature an online versus mode in which players can control zombies or zombie hunters.  Launching alongside Resident Evil 6 is–a free website that tracks players’ game data and compares it to other players around the world.  Resident Evil 6 will arrive for Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 on October 2, 2012.  A demo of the game will be available on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network on September 18, 2012.


Official Synopsis:  “It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack.  With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.”

  1. This game, though a shadow of its former glory, still retains entertaining, zombie decapitating, satisfying elements that will see me buying this on day of release. It does feel like a fanale though?
