Matt & Kim, Andrew W.K., Soulja Boy Are Dancing Zombies in “I’m a Goner” Music Video

The music video for Matt & Kim‘s newest song, “I’m a Goner,” features them (as well as Andrew W.K. and Soulja Boy) as reanimated corpses partying at the morgue.  “I’m a Goner” was recorded at Converse’s Rubber Tracks–a free, community recording studio the shoe company opened in Brooklyn, New York.  Watch the music video below.


Beastie Boys Action Figures Fight Zombies and Others in Spike Jonze Music Video

The newest Beastie Boys music video is directed by Spike Jonze and features action figure versions of the band mates battling zombies (with the help of a Yeti).  The video is for the song, “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win (featuring Santigold),” off of their newest album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.  Check out the full length video below.

Jon Brion To Score ‘ParaNorman’

Focus Features has announced that Jon Brion will compose the music for its upcoming stop-motion animated zombie film, ParaNormanJon Brion has scored multiple films including Magnolia and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, both of which earned him Grammy nominations.  ParaNorman is about a boy who has the ability to speak with the dead and must save his town from a horde of zombies.  The film is being made by LAIKA, the animation company behind CoralineParaNorman will be released in 3D on August 17, 2012.

Shuffling “Zombies” in LMFAO Video

The newest music video from electro hip hop duo, LMFAO, parodies Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later.  The video for “Party Rock Anthem” has Redfoo and SkyBlu waking up in a hospital from a coma only to find that their music has turned the world into shuffling “zombies.”  Check it out below.


Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ Being Made Into a Film?

Kenny Ortega, director of the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It, recently told Entertainment Weekly that he was interested in adapting Jackson’s music video, Thriller, into a feature length film.  Ortega stated that the movie is still years away from coming into fruition, and the Jackson estate has yet to agree to the project.
