‘Black Ops II Zombies’ Revealed

Treyarch and Activision have unveiled the first information about ZOMBIES in their upcoming game, Call of Duty: Black Ops II.  The popular game mode has expanded significantly in the latest edition of the Call of Duty franchise.  Zombies in Black Ops II will not only include the classic Survival mode, during which players cooperatively battle against waves of the undead, but also two brand new modes: Tranzit and Grief.  Tranzit is a cooperative story campaign set in a huge interconnected world.  In Tranzit players will be able to travel to different maps within the world using an armored bus.  While traveling between areas players will have to work together to fight off zombies as they swarm the vehicle.  Once the bus has reached a destination, players can jump off and explore the new area in order to discover additional weapons and items.  In Grief mode, two teams of human players compete to survive against an onslaught of zombies.  The last team standing wins the match.  During Grief players will be unable to directly kill the humans on the other team.  Players must instead find different ways to hinder the other team’s survival.  Up to 8 players can participate in Grief mode online.  Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 13, 2012 and for Nintendo’s Wii U on November 18th.
