A new gameplay trailer has been released for Activision’s The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. The first-person shooter based on AMC’s The Walking Dead will arrive on March 26th for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo’s Wii U. ‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ Launches Today

Resident Evil: Revelations hit stores in North America today.  The Nintendo 3DS game stars Resident Evil series mainstays, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, as they explore a troubled luxury cruise ship.  The story takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5Revelations‘ gameplay will be similar to earlier Resident Evil installments–limited ammo supply, exploration, and puzzle-solving–but will also contain features brand new to the franchise including underwater combat.  Resident Evil: Revelations has been receiving positive acclaim from critics.  Check out the launch trailer below.

‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ Debuts February 7th on 3DS

Capcom has officially announced that Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on February 7, 2012 in the United States.  The game stars Resident Evil mainstays, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, exploring a troubled luxury cruise ship.  The story takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5Revelations‘ gameplay will be similar to earlier Resident Evil installments–limited ammo supply, exploration, and puzzle-solving–but will also contain features brand new to the franchise including underwater combat.  Players will also be able to switch from third to first-person view during combat for more accurate aiming.  Resident Evil: Revelations will be available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.

‘Resident Evil’ E3 Trailers

Capcom released new trailers for both Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil Revelations at this year’s E3 ExpoRaccoon City puts players in the shoes of the Umbrella Corporation’s security force during the original T-virus outbreak.  It is the job of the players to cover up all T-virus evidence–eliminating zombies and survivors.  The game will be released this winter for Xbox 360, PS3, and Microsoft Windows.  Revelations features long-time Resident Evil stars, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, exploring a troubled luxury cruise ship.  The game’s story takes place between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5Revelations will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2012.

Resident Evil 3DS

Capcom has revealed photos from both of its upcoming Resident Evil titles for the Nintendo 3DS.  Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D Edition is a revamped version of the co-op “Mercenaries” game mode from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5Resident Evil Revelations is a brand new game that features Resident Evil mainstays, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, exploring a troubled luxury cruise ship.  The games will take advantage of the 3DS’s touchscreen and 3D capabilities as well as allow players to run while shooting–a first for the Resident Evil series!  Neither game has a release date yet.  The Nintendo 3DS is expected to launch sometime during the first half of 2011.  Click on the photo below for more Resident Evil 3DS pictures and information.
