‘Warm Bodies’ Gets a Release Date

/Film reports that Summit Entertainment’s Warm Bodies will debut in theaters August 10, 2012.  Warm Bodies is based on the zombie novel of the same name by Isaac Marion.  The story follows a zombie (Nicholas Hoult) who starts to recall his past humanity and falls in love with the former girlfriend (Teresa Palmer) of one of his victims.  Rob Corddry and John Malkovich have also been cast in the film.  Jonathan Levine is directing.  

John Malkovich on Track to Join ‘Warm Bodies’

According to Variety, John Malkovich is in talks to join the cast of Summit Entertainment’s zombie film, Warm Bodies.  Malkovich would play a military general obsessed with destroying the living dead.  Warm Bodies is based on the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion.  The story follows a zombie who starts to recall his past humanity when he falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his victims.  Nicholas Hoult has been cast as the lead zombie, and Teresa Palmer will play his love interest.  Rob Corddry has also been cast as a zombie in the film.  Warm Bodies is being directed by Jonathan Levine and is due in theaters next year.

Variety reports that Rob Corddry is in finals talks to join Summit Entertainment’s movie adaptation of Warm BodiesWarm Bodies is a zombie novel written by by Isaac Marion.  The story follows a zombie who starts to recall his past humanity just as he falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his victims.  Nicholas Hoult has been cast as the lead zombie, and Teresa Palmer will play his love interest.  Corddry would play a zombie who like Hoult’s character begins to break free from his mindless cognizant state.  Warm Bodies is being directed by Jonathan Levine and is due out in theaters in 2012.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four) has joined the cast of Summit Entertainment’s Warm BodiesWarm Bodies is based on the zombie novel of the same name by Isaac Marion.  The story follows a zombie who falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his meal-time victims.  Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) has already been cast as the zombie, and Palmer would play his love interest.  Warm Bodies is being directed by Jonathan Levine and is due out in theaters 2012.

Zombie Film News: ‘Warm Bodies’ & ‘The Kitchen Sink’

More undead movies are on the way, zombie fans!  Hollywood continues to fuel the zombie craze with more and more z-films being put into development each day.

Sony Pictures is working on a film titled The Kitchen Sink, and Deadline reports that Jonah Hill is in talks to direct the movie.  The film would be Hill’s first as director.  The Kitchen Sink is a high school movie about teenaged zombies, vampires, and humans who team up to save their town from an alien invasion.  Matt Tolmach is producing the film.

 According to Screen Daily, Nicholas Hoult has just been cast as the lead zombie in Summit Entertainment’s Warm Bodies.  Hoult will play a zombie who falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his meal-time victims.  Warm Bodies is based on the novel of the same name by Isaac Marion.  (The novel will be released in the United States on April 26, 2011.)  Hoult will next be seen in X-Men: First Class as the mutant Beast.  Warm Bodies is being directed by Jonathan Levine and is due out in theaters 2012.
