A fake trailer for Activision’s upcoming first-person shooter, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, is making the rounds online. The trailer was created by a fan using early developmental footage from the game and fooled a host of news outlets including one of Activision’s own employees. The bogus trailer’s original video has since been removed by its creator from YouTube. The real The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a prequel to The Walking Dead television series on AMC. It follows the characters Daryl and Merle Dixon as they travel through the zombie-ridden Georgia countryside to Atlanta. The game will be released March 26th in North America and March 29th in Europe for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo’s Wii U. As many of you are aware, I occasionally video blog on YouTube. Each of my “vlogs” are roughly 30 seconds long because anything worth discussing isn’t worth talking about for more than 30 seconds. Also, the zombie attention span is rather low.
Seeing as how the third season of AMC’s The Walking Dead is only one month away from its debut; I thought it would be appropriate to share my thoughts on the television series second season. Spoilers and such forthcoming. Check out my video review below. Here’s a preview: I am a fan of any show where you’re rooting for the zombies to eat the main cast members!
